Ticker appoints first UK and EU correspondent
Ticker News has appointed Simon Anderson as its first UK and European correspondent.
Ticker News is delighted to announce our new breaking news reporter, based in London.
Simon Anderson has been appointed Ticker’s first British and European correspondent. Simon will report directly from London throughout the week, filing reports at the scene of the latest news.
Until recently, Simon was editor and field producer of ITV News, as well as digital news curator with Upday, a fact-checking media company in conjunction with Facebook UK.
Simon brings extensive experience in the broadcast media industry, with skills as a news producer, field producer, online video editor and TV news reporter.
Ticker CEO and Founder Ahron Young says: “Ticker loves London! We are now poised to shake up the local news industry with our coverage of the latest news, business and technology. Simon is the perfect candidate. I was once an Australian journalist living in London. It is a rite of passage. He brings credibility and good humor to a big role for us.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Simon wants to combine his years of experience in writing and editing roles with on-camera reporting.
